My name is Stephen and I’m an independent researcher focused on fundamental building blocks for neural computation. I have been testing and developing brain emulations for the last decade. While I have been greatly impressed by mainstream AI's capabilities, I’ve also been dissatisfied with mainstream explanations.

Through this platform, I aim to delve into the realm of cognition without being constrained by previous attempts or preconceived notions of what intelligence should entail. I will break down my findings and apply this to different areas of AI and neuroscience. I'm excited to share my passion of examining both the function and dysfunction of cognition.

Cognition is indeed a complex and multifaceted area, and we will explore its many connections and intricacies. Utilizing this new paradigm as a lens, we will endeavor to better understand and explain our own cognitive processes.
